I know I don’t use this account much but the character limit on Twitter is making me crazy. I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while now.. Ok so, I’d known for a while now that my aunt had cancer. I was traveling for work but came home once in a while to help take care of the yard and other things that needed to be done around the house. I took a month off during the middle of the year for the same reason only this time when I came home I found out it had spread to her brain. During the month of July, she lost her ability to walk and eventually stopped talking almost altogether. I contacted a friend who is an LPN and they guided me through the whole process. I became my aunt’s main caretaker since I knew which pills she needed as well as being the only one in the household that could lift her from her wheelchair/bed. She passed away a month later.
